Steve's consulting expertise includes leadership and management development, work culture change, strategic HRM practices, and HRM troubleshooting. Steve has worked for 4 Fortune 500 companies in progressively more responsible capacities in Organization/Management Development, Human Resource Management, Risk Management, and related Legal Affairs. Most recently, he was the VP of Human Resources and Labor Relations for a Pacific Northwest company with $300M in revenue and 2600 employees. He has managed several large-scale organization development and work culture change projects, and developed numerous leadership and team development programs.

Along with his business and consulting career, he has been a faculty member in the College of Business at both the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, and a senior trainer for the Columbia Leadership Institute. Assessment tools he has developed include the Leadership Philosophy Profile, the Strategic HRM Practices Survey and the Team Effectiveness Profile.
